TournifyPK takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can control it. We're committed to transparency — if you have questions about anything in this document, please ask us directly.
1. What Data We Collect
Account information: Username, email address, password (hashed and salted), city, and any profile details you choose to provide.
Tournament participation: Match results, rankings, team memberships, and competitive history on the platform.
Payment information: For paid tournaments, we collect JazzCash/EasyPaisa account identifiers for prize distribution. We do not store full payment credentials — transactions are processed through secure payment gateways.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, device type, browser, and IP address for security and platform improvement purposes.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Platform operation: To run tournaments, track results, and maintain competitive integrity
- Communications: Tournament notifications, match reminders, and platform updates
- Security: Fraud detection, anti-cheat enforcement, and account protection
- Improvement: Understanding how the platform is used to make it better
- Legal compliance: Meeting our obligations under Pakistani law
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data in limited circumstances:
- Tournament co-organizers: When events are co-organized, basic participant information is shared with the co-organizer for logistics purposes
- Payment processors: Payment identifiers are shared with JazzCash/EasyPaisa for prize distribution
- Legal obligations: When required by Pakistani law or valid legal process
- Safety: To prevent fraud or protect platform integrity
4. Public Information
Your username, tournament results, rankings, and team affiliations are public by default. This is essential to the competitive nature of the platform — tournament brackets and leaderboards are visible to all users. You can choose whether your email address is visible to other users in your profile settings.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days, though anonymized competitive records (match results without personal identifiers) may be retained for historical ranking purposes.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed password storage, session management, and access controls. No system is completely secure — if you discover a security vulnerability, please disclose it responsibly to security@tournify.pk.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information in your account
- Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Opt out of marketing communications

8. Cookies
TournifyPK uses essential cookies for session management and security. We use analytics cookies to understand platform usage. You can control cookie preferences in your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies will impair platform functionality.
9. Third-Party Links
Our platform includes links to game publishers, esports news sources, and social platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites. Review each site's privacy policy before providing personal information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy via platform notification. The updated policy will specify its effective date. Continued platform use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
