Higher Ground has just released a new trailer for The Eyes of Ghana, a documentary directed by Ben Proudfoot following Chris Tsui Hesse, the personal cameraman to Ghana's first president, Kwame Nkrumah, on a mission to preserve more than 1,000 reels of film documenting Africa's fight for independence. It's a poignant story about the rich, complicated heritage of Ghana, but you're probably busy doing a double-take at the headline, because the film's executive producers include former US President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama, with popular Twitch streamer iShowSpeed recently signing on as producer for the theatrical release.
