I nearly rolled my eyes when I opened my laptop to see another The Elder Scrolls 6 update this week. I can't tell you how many times I've fallen for the speculation that The Elder Scrolls 6 is actually upon us, only to find it's yet another breadcrumb in the rumor trail. We're coming up on 15 years since Skyrim, and nearly a decade now since the next mainline game was officially announced. The Elder Scrolls fans will remember that trailer: a short, rolling shot of what seemed to be the setting for the gameâs next rugged adventureâunfortunately, that's all that Bethesda has graced us with up until even now. However, with fresh reports and hints from former Bethesda lead designer Bruce Nesmith, I find myself returning to the same old question about what's next for The Elder Scrolls.
