Tencent and Capcom have set an October 29 launch date for Monster Hunter Outlanders.
The launch comes nearly two years after the title’s announcement. A mainland China version is scheduled to follow from 2027, separate from the global release. Pre-registration is currently live on the App Store and Google Play.
Outlanders is Tencent-owned Timi’s spin on adapting Monster Hunter’s core hunting loop, alongside crafting, exploration, and original player characters called Adventurers, for mobile. It has two control schemes aimed at reaching both series veterans and mobile-first players.
Timi is the Shenzen, China-based developer behind top grossing title Honor of Kings, as well as Activision collab Call of Duty Mobile and fellow shooter Delta Force. It also worked with Microsoft to develop and run Age of Empires Mobile.
Ahead of launch, Timi producer Dong Huang and Capcom’s Ryozo Tsujimoto, chief product officer at Capcom and producer of the Monster Hunter series, appeared in a joint video message confirming the Charge Blade weapon will be included at launch.
Timi also released a new trailer during an online broadcast ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2026, showcasing flagship monster Ruger Aidal, Adventurers Freya and Haze, and tools including the Sky Glide and Wind Platforms.
