Sonic turns 35 this year, and Sega has been doing some pretty odd stuff to mark the occasion, which, to be fair, is pretty in keeping with the Sonic brand. However, creating a statue and claiming it contains the real-life DNA of the world's most famous hedgehog is a new level of Sonic-weird that even I'm not familiar with, and I've been playing his games for pretty much every last one of those 35 years.
