Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver Officially Return in February 2027

The Pokemon franchise's 30th anniversary has given The Pokemon Company plenty of opportunities to revisit its history, and following the Switch release of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen earlier this year is an announcement for Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver in 2027. While newer games like Pokemon Winds and Waves continue to push the series forward, celebrations like this also give older generations another chance to stand out. Some of Pokemon's most beloved adventures are now old enough to be considered classics, making anniversary merchandise an easy way for longtime fans to reconnect with them.
