Monkey D. Luffy's Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, took him to god status in chapter 1044, released officially on March 28, 2022, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #17. In this chapter, it was officially confirmed to us that this Devil Fruit was not actually Gomu Gomu no Mi, but a Mythical Zoan that grants the power to transform into the Sun God Nika.
