Nintendo Switch 2 gamers have an especially busy day ahead of them, thanks to six games that are all set to launch on October 16. The Switch 2 has enjoyed a busy 2026, with high-quality exclusives like Pokemon Pokopia, Splatoon Raiders, and Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave all making good arguments for fans to go out and pick up Nintendo's latest home console/handheld hybrid. The Switch 2's backward compatibility with Switch 1 has meant that the biggest exclusives released for Nintendo's older console, like Tomodachi Life and Rhythm Heaven Groove, have also been playable on Nintendo's newest console.
