New Yakuza Game Is Making Music Just as Important as Combat

RGG Studio's new Stranger Than Heaven Act 1 trailer dropped, setting the scene for what the new Yakuza game might offer for new and longtime fans. Stranger Than Heaven is an action-adventure title slated to release on January 15, 2027, that already looks to be a refreshing reframing of the Yakuza universe with new additions made to keep things fresh. Music in particular seems to be a large theme in the 2027 game, an interesting focus that holds just as much weight as refined combat.
