The Witcher 3: Wild Hunthas already cemented its place as one of gaming's most beloved RPGs, and CD Projekt Red is preparing to give players another reason to return to the Continent. Songs of the Past, the upcoming third expansion, will reunite Geralt of Rivia for a new adventure in Letten, the idyllic homeland of bard Dandelion. That already gives me an impression of the expansion, and I'm excited to see what odes, ballads and serenades that we will encounter in Songs of the Past. Scheduled for release in 2027, the expansion is being co-developed by CD Projekt Red and The Witcher 3veterans Fool's Theory. The official announcement promises new characters, quests, and meaningful decisions, giving the expansion plenty of room to build on the original game's legacy.
