New Lord of the Rings RPG's Rumored Release Window Is Both Good and Bad News

I don't think I could have been much more excited when Warhorse Studios announced that it was developing a new open-world RPG set in The Lord of the Rings universe earlier this year. Having spent a considerable amount of time with both Kingdom Come: Deliverance games, I can think of very few developers I'd rather see tackle something as ambitious as an open-world Middle-earth RPG, especially considering just how much attention Warhorse clearly puts into making its worlds feel truly alive. Unfortunately, a recent rumor suggests that we could still be waiting quite a while before we actually get our hands on the game, and while that's certainly disappointing to hear, I also think it's exactly what an undertaking like this needs.
