I've made peace with our 2026 list and accepted that a few of my most anticipated releases may wind up on our new PC games 2027 calendar instead. My picks remain dateless, much like Grand Theft Auto 6 on PC, but other 2027 release dates are starting to trickle in with Fable, Exodus, and Final Fantasy 7 Revelation among the early headliners. Fable
Steam | February 23
Fable went from a 2025 release to Autumn 2026, and now we're here. Since Microsoft keeps shuttering studios left and right, I've got little faith that anything under the name is safe, but director Ralph Fulton says Fable isn't on the chopping block. I'll remain cautiously optimistic until February.
Exodus
Steam | April 7
Archetype Entertainmentâfounded by BioWare veteransâis working on its big space adventure set to debut at the start of 2027. After EA shut down BioWare it's impossible to ignore how Mass Effect-like the game looks, so here's to hoping it captures some of that beloved RPG magic.
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation

After a thematically appropriate seven-year wait, the FF7 remake trilogy concludes in 2027 with Revelation. It's the first time PC players get to join the party at launch, and it's shaping up to be a big one with all of my childhood enemies in attendance. Looking at you, Ruby Weapon.
