Metroid Ravenous Special Edition Pre-Orders Are Being Canceled

Fans that pre-ordered the special edition of Metroid Ravenous have been disappointed to discover that one retailer has canceled several purchases. Metroid Ravenous is a direct sequel to Metroid Dread, serving as the next entry in the 2D series. Like that game, Metroid Ravenous is being developed by the independent Spanish studio MercurySteam. The developer's first Metroid game was released on 3DS in 2017, and MercurySteam has been closely associated with the series ever since.
