Typically, a release's main story requires around 30 hours, with exceptions existing on both sides. However, if you are looking to complete a JRPG, you need to be prepared to double or triple your investment at a minimum; for instance, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth takes about 120 hours to complete, and it isn't anywhere near the longest JRPG.
