Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players have one last chance to get a unique, very rare Pokemon before it's gone forever on July 17. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are almost four years old and will officially enter their fifth year since launch in November 2026. Yet, Pokemon Winds and Waves were revealed this past Pokemon Day for an undisclosed 2027 release, so they may come around five years after Gen 9. For quite some time, Gen 9 has been in maintenance mode with minimal updates, but now, there are several new events to look forward to.
