I'll say up front that I'm probably about as big a Kingdom Come: Deliverance fan as you'll find, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has become one of my favorite games of all time. So, naturally, the announcement that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Royal Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027 immediately had my attention. I'm already imagining how dangerous it will be for my free time to have a portable version of KCD2 sitting within arm's reach, but there's another part of this announcement I'm almost more interested in seeing play out.
