On September 30, 2024, Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen officially met its end in the 44th Issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. At the time, most fans believed that the ending of Jujutsu Kaisen was rushed, as many plot points were unresolved. However, a lot of these complaints were alleviated when Gege made a return with a short spin-off manga, known as Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo, which served as a sequel to the original story and was released on September 8, 2025.
