Lego: The Danish toy giant has appointed former Homa and Zynga head of corporate development Rohan Jain to take on the same role at Lego Digital Play.
Supercell: The Finnish studio has appointed Tom Coffey as the regional marketing strategist for EMEA. He joins from Amazon Games, where he served as senior global marketing manager. Former Opera influencer marketing specialist Rodrigo Alvarez-Zucchino has also joined Supercell as creator relationship manager for Clash of Clans.
Appcharge: The DTC payments platform has appointed former Zynga president and Match Group CEO Bernard Kim to its advisory board.
Tilting Point: The publisher has appointed EA co-founder and former Take-Two and Zynga director Bing Gordon to its board of directors.
Super Evil Megacorp: Industry legend Kristian Segerstrale says that while he remains chair of TMNT: Splintered Fate maker SEMC, he has shifted his focus from building game companies to frontier tech, and will be working more in the fields of compute, energy and applied AI in future.
Scopely: Following a year as senior creative lead of Scopely’s Max division, Daniel Geron has started a new position as head of creative marketing for the Monopoly Go maker’s live games portfolio.
Esther Prats Martínez has also joined Scopely’s Star Trek Fleet Command team as an associate game designer. She previously spent six months at Scopely as a game design intern and was also a level design intern at King. Former Zynga QA lead Ajeya Kumar has also moved over to Scopely as QA lead.
Rovio: Angry Birds 2 has a new product manager in the form of Alina Mihai, who previously held the same role at both Wooga and Gameloft Romania.
Zynga: Following two years as a freelance digital marketing and brand consultant, Neha Jha has joined the Take-Two mobile studio as brand promotional partnerships manager.
Play Ventures: Former e2vc associate Selin Esin has joined Singapore-headquartered games VC firm Play as an investment associate.
Fortis Games: The Twilight Towers maker has appointed Sebastien Samson as senior manager, game design. His previous roles include Ludia senior studio director – design, game design director at Kluge Interactive, and game director at Slightly Mad Studios.
Wooga: Following four years at Kolibri Games, where he most recently served as growth director, Misha Osintsev has joined the June’s Journey maker as senior director of marketing and growth.
Tactile Games: The Lily’s Garden maker has hired Laetitia Belkhamsa as product manager, a role she previously held at TapNation and Homa Games.
Dream Games: The Royal Match maker has hired Eşref Emir Kırçiçeği as UI designer. He was previously a game UX/UI artist at Ludu and senior game artist at Paxie Games.
CrazyLabs: The Coffee Mania and Bus Frenzy maker has appointed Ozan Aksun as creative lead. He was previously a senior marketing artist at Sunday.
Nordeus: There are eight new appointments at the Top Eleven maker. It has hired Luka Stefanovic as a VFX artist, Diana Adili as a graphic designer, Jaroslav Veseli as a junior software engineer, Marija Ivanovic as a talent acquisition partner, Matija Djordjevic as a junior data scientist, Nada Avramovic as a junior HR generalist, Nikolina Ilic as a junior software engineer, and Rastko Kojic as a junior game designer.
ZBD: The gaming fintech company has hired Gordon Thornton as chief commercial officer. He previously spent 17 years at Sony Interactive Entertainment, where he served as senior VP, and more recently headed up cloud gaming and metasites for Xsolla.
Papaya: The Solitaire Cash maker has promoted former Plarium GTM lead Lilach Bar-noy Yelin from performance group manager to director of performance marketing.
PikPok: Following two years at resource management software company Runn, Clare Everett has joined the Into the Dead and Rival Stars maker as people and culture partner.
SciPlay: The mobile and web games developer and publisher has appointed former KPMG Israel strategy analyst Kfir Moskovitz Dolev as product monetisation manager. Liam Hikrey Nirgad, who previously worked at Deloitte as strategic business consultant, has also joined the company as product monetisation manager.
King: Luken Aragon, who was previously VP of marketing for Candy Crush Saga, has started a new role as chief marketing officer. Former Volvo senior cloud/platform engineer Asawari Joshi has also joined King as senior cloud engineer.
Trailmix Games: The Love & Pies maker has promoted Luke Boniface from lead software engineer to head of technology.
