Known in previous games in the series as 'Seeders,' the mortar-firing, radio-jamming Locust units in Gears of War: E-Day are referred to as Jammers for the most part. Just as annoying as they were in previous entries, but without the Hammer of Dawn to help you take them down, they can cause real problems in your fight to push back the Locust horde. Not only is their mortar fire incredibly damaging and annoying, but they only have one weak spot that is rarely on display.
