The Golden Shovel (and Golden Helmet) are essential pieces of equipment for Origins in Black Ops 2 that make high rounds and easter egg playthroughs far easier. The Golden Shovel is obtained by interacting with 30 dig sites, and this will increase your chances of obtaining rare loot (and extra Perks past the 4-Perk limit). With the Golden Shovel, you can also dig up the Golden Helmet to become immune to Giant Robots stepping on you!
