Steel is the most advanced material in Graveyard Keeper 2 and is required for the later part of the Metallurgy Tech Tree. Steel Ingots can be used to craft better tools, weapons, and armor, while building pieces such as Steel Screws and Engineering Details are required to get the most out of your factory. There's only one way to get Steel Ingots in Graveyard Keeper 2, and unlike other Ingots, they are not forged in a furnace or smithy, but instead bought from monks at the Royal Foundry.
