Crimson Desert's first Charting the Unknown DLC is releasing imminently, despite its initial delay, a mere seven months after the base game released, during which time Pearl Abyss has updated it with content relentlessly.

Charting the Unknown releases on October 29 or 30 depending on where you live, but it's a simultaneous release around the globe. Here's when you can expect to play it:

  • West Coast US: 3 pm PDT (October 29)
  • East Coast US: 6 pm EDT (October 29)
  • UK: 10 pm GMT (October 29)
  • Europe: 11 pm CEST (October 29)
  • Australia: 9 am AEST (October 30)
  • New Zealand: 11 am NZST (October 30)

If you're unsure whether you can run it, you can see the updated system requirements on the Steam page. The preload is also currently live, though it requires a pretty hefty storage footprint to install. The game itself is 135GB, though, so you'll probably want a headstart downloading it, unless your internet is more capable than mine.
