A lot of co-op games are cozy or funny. That's not so much the case with Carcass Clad, a new co-op tank game from Wrong Organ, developer of Mouthwashing.

We just saw the world premiere of Carcass Clad at the PC Gaming Show, and it looks absolutely feral. Your character is mere inches from hot, dangerous machinery, and you've got to operate your section of the tank and communicate with your crew to stand any chance of defeating your enemies. If you've ever watched Fury, that's the vibe.

For a lot of games, that would be enough, but this is from the people who brought us Mouthwashing, so the sicko meter is cranked up to 11. This isn't a standard WW2 co-op simulator. You have to battle your way through a war-torn city ravaged by a cultish military that uh… armours their vehicles with animals—some still living. Oh, and the cult has also resurrected some long-dead political figure and transformed them into a bird-man that hunts you throughout your run. Good luck!

There are three roles: commander, driver, and gunner. As commander, you'll be charged with spotting enemies, planning your route through the city, collecting items outside the tank, and deploying defensive measures like smoke screens.

The gunner is responsible for, you guessed it, manning the gun. Aiming, firing, reloading, that's all you. You'll also scan for threats, but your commander will have to properly identify them.

Finally, there's the driver. They'll be in charge of moving the tank through the city and positioning it during fights. Additionally, they can manage each system's power, giving one a boost at the expense of another when the time calls for it.

Almost all of the gameplay is mouse-based, so you'll have to crank levels, turn wheels, and load shells manually. It plays like a roguelike, with each run broken down into levels separated by safe rooms where you can buy supplies like ammo and fuel and upgrade your tank.

If you're a fan of Mouthwashing or just want a new co-op experience to test the limits of your friendships, wishlist Carcass Clad on Steam.
