Dragon Ball Super: Beerushas officially premiered at NYCC 2026, and the remake's new take on the anime is actually much closer to Toyotarou's manga than many fans were expecting. Following recent trailers which revealed that Goku would be using Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken against Hit, it seemed as if Dragon Ball Super: Beerus would stick closer to the anime timeline. Fortunately, this is not the case, as Episode 1 opens with a few new battles for Goku.
