Dragon Ball Officially Confirms Vegeta is Stronger Than Goku

Goku and Vegeta have been rivals for a long time, but Dragon Ball Zmade it painfully clear that Goku was always destined to be stronger. He was the first person to turn into a Super Saiyan, fully mastered the form where Vegeta couldn't, and was able to unlock Super Saiyan 3 – a form Vegeta never obtained in the canon timeline. By the end of DBZ, Goku was so much stronger than Vegeta that the Prince of All Saiyans' arc ended with him straight up accepting that his rival was better.
