From 1999 to 2005, George Lucas released the Star Wars prequels: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. The three movies are a mixed bag in terms of quality, and one of the biggest problems with the movies is that they don't always line up perfectly with the original series. As a result, the two trilogies often feel less connected than fans would have preferred.
