Destiny 2 players will soon be able to play Strikes from the content vault thanks to Project Sunrise. On May 21, Bungie announced that Destiny 2 would get one final update on June 9, and then the company would stop working on it entirely, meaning no more support and the end of the live-service approach. This suddenly left longtime fans without a third space, or at least without one that would get new content and support via updates or hotfixes to address issues.
