The launch of Modern Warfare 4 has handed Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 an unexpected boon on Xbox and PC. Though the Treyarch title spent much of the past year as the franchise's punching bag, Modern Warfare 4 just arrived on October 23 as a standalone $69.99 purchase, and Activision has confirmed it won't join Game Pass until Holiday 2027.
