Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is the official second part of the Boruto series, which is the direct sequel to the story of Naruto Uzumaki, written by Masashi Kishimoto. Kishimoto's Naruto series is known to be tremendously influential all over the world, and much of that is down to the incredible story arcs that he wrote over the years. 21 years ago, on February 14, 2005, Masashi Kishimoto started writing the Kazekage Rescue arc, which threw a lot of focus on the Akatsuki, as well as the character of Gaara. It also brought Naruto Uzumaki and his Team 7 into the fold and showcased their newly learned abilities after the timeskip.
