Gary Larson's Far Side comic strip series delivered a healthy dose of strange and off-kilter humor to its audiences for 15 years. Larson's comic career would start in 1976 with Nature's Way, which was published originally by Pacific Search. At the time, he was only paid $3 per comic strip. In 1980, he would start the Far Side, which was originally published in the San Francisco Chronicle.
