Older favorites like Iceman and Colossus were given lesser priority over newcomers like Gambit and Jubilee. While Gambit quickly endeared himself to viewers and readers alike, Jubilee never quite reached the same potential. X-Men '97 finally does right by the character, offering a version that has what it takes to stand alongside giants like Cyclops, Storm, and Wolverine.
