Why Did Tommy Oliver Become the White Ranger in Power Rangers?

With the greatest respect to everyone else out there who has ever held a Morpher, there's no Power Ranger more iconic than Tommy Oliver. As played by the late, great Jason David Frank, Tommy appears in more iterations of the Power Rangersfranchise than anyone else, usually switching up his Ranger forms along the way. He was the Red Zeo and Turbo Rangers, the Black Dino Thunder Ranger, and most famously, he served as both the Green and White Rangers on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
