Supergirl Review: Milly Alcock Shines in a Fun but Uneven DC Adventure

2025's Superman kicked off a new era for DC heroes on the big screen, and the James Gunn-directed film offered a refreshing take on the character and his universe. The sophomore outing for the new cinematic universe is Supergirl, which puts the focus on Clark Kent's cousin. The character was introduced at the end of last year's movie, and Supergirl weaves together the character's past and present. The movie is at its best when it's looking to the past, but the present also has some moments to enjoy.
