Pokemon Scarlet and Violet officially announced eight new events for August 2026. While Pokemon Winds and Waves are on the horizon, the games will launch sometime in 2027, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will remain actively supported in the meantime. This doesn't apply to all aspects of the games, though, as Season 41 was the last official season for Gen 9 games, and now Pokemon Champions carries the torch for VGC content. Still, fans can expect more content for Gen 9, as evidenced by a new announcement.
