Pokemon Champions is giving away a free gift for players to claim to celebrate the game hitting over 10 million downloads, but there's a deadline attached. Pokemon Champions came out at the start of April 2026, and it was met with lukewarm reviews due to the severely shrunk Pokedex and item pool compared to the main VGC hub of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The game has since replaced Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as a competitive-focused game, and it has already hosted multiple tournaments, including Regionals and NAIC 2026.
