The PlayStation State of Play showcase that happened today, September 3, 2026, was taken over by comments about Destiny 3 and "No Disc No Buy" after Sony's recent decisions. Sony has been facing incredible backlash over its decision to pivot from physical discs and releases to a digital-only future, while doubling down on it with comments about digital game ownership.
