On August 11, 2003, in One Piece chapter 287, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the series, first dropped the four main Gods of the One Piece world, those being the Sun God, the Rain God, the Earth God, and the Forest God. Decades later, in One Piece chapter 1044, which was released officially on March 28, 2022, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #17, Oda finally unveiled to us the first of the four Gods in the form of Sun God Nika. This happened as Monkey D. Luffy awakened the power of Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, and tapped into his Gear 5 transformation. Through Luffy, Nika was reborn once again after 800 years.
