Introduced officially in One Piece Chapter 432, by Monkey D. Garp, the Yonko, also known as the Four Emperors, are the four most powerful pirates that reside in the New World. At the beginning of the series, the Yonko were made up of Whitebeard, Shanks, Kaido, and Big Mom. However, during the Paramount War, a major shift took place as Whitebeard died and was eventually replaced by Blackbeard. In the War of Wano, two of the Four Emperors collaborated for the very first time, and both ended up falling against the Worst Generation.
