The Straw Hat Pirates are the primary pirate crew that we, as fans, have been following ever since One Piece's beginning on July 18, 1997, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #34. Monkey D. Luffy established the Straw Hat Pirates after Roronoa joined him in Chapter 6 of the story. Since then, this crew has grown significantly to the point where it is now considered an Emperor Crew, as confirmed in One Piece Chapter 1053 on June 20, 2022.
