LEGO Skylines May Have Found What Modern City Builders Are Missing

There were a lot of big announcements at Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live, and LEGO Skylines was a standout, especially for fans of both LEGO and city-builders. LEGO Skylines is being made by Iceflake Studios, the studio that currently manages Cities: Skylines 2, which is even more good news. This new LEGO-filled city management game doesn't have an official release date set in stone, but it has at least been confirmed for next year. Based on the first trailer alone, it looks like LEGO Skylines is all about low-stress building, which sounds like a breath of fresh air for the genre.
