GungHo has confirmed that Disney Pixel RPG, its mobile-exclusive retro-style role playing game, will shut down on September 30.

The closure notice on the game’s official site (as translated by machine) says the development team has stopped producing new content but the game will stay live until January 13, 2027, when support ends entirely.

AppMagic estimates suggest the RPG has been downloaded almost 1.5m times since its 2024 launch, generating a lifetime revenue of over $3.1m.
