Final Fantasy 9’s Zidane Officially Returns on October 22

For many Final Fantasy fans, Final Fantasy 9 represents the peak of the series' fantasy aesthetic and a return to form after Final Fantasy 7 and 8 strayed away from these roots. Rumors of a Final Fantasy 9 remake have circulated online for several years now, but nothing has yet to manifest, leaving fans waiting for the next time they'll get to see characters like protagonist Zidane Tribal again. Thankfully, they won't have to wait much longer, as Zidane is officially returning to the franchise on October 22.
