I know what you are thinking: Aren't most NES games painful to play nowadays? There is certainly an element of truth to that, but I would say most of the better releases on the console are still relatively fun, even if they can't really live up to the games that came out on the SNES and beyond. Super Mario Bros. 3, Kirby's Adventure, most of the Mega Man games, Crystallis, River City Ransom, Duck Hunt, Little Samson, and Contra are all eternal, and that's far from a complete list.
