Berserk Officially Ruins Series With Uninspired Shonen Anime MC Power Up

Berserkwas one of the best manga ever written and drawn when Kentaro Miura was still alive and working on the series. Grounded, but still fantastical, Berserk managed to tell a depressingly dark story filled with some of the most nuanced and human characters in manga, all while balancing over-the-top action, monstrous designs, and an oppressive atmosphere that still had the occasional ray of hope along the way. The series hasn't been the same without Miura, but things have gotten downright dire with the last two chapters.
