I tried to play the Assassin's Creed 3 remaster on my Series X earlier this year, seeing as Ubisoft delisted the original. There's the usual performance hiccups and odd animation glitches, but the worst offender was the wax figurine NPCs melting under the Boston sun speaking from my back speakers even though they were right in front of me. I uninstalled it pretty quickly and grabbed an Xbox 360 copy instead.
