A few years after Yuki Tabata’s series began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump, Black Clover had established itself as a staple among young readers and was one of the most popular Shonen series all over the world, with many comparing it even to the likes of My Hero Academia in terms of popularity. Black Clover’s peak has long since ended now, and in big part, that’s due to the manga hiatuses, which eventually led to the anime going on break as well.
