An adaptation of Ryushiki07’s visual novels of the same name, Higurashi was a horror-mystery series that blended slice of life atmosphere and coming of age themes with a hyper violent, extremely dark, and at times utterly terrifying story that put six children at the center of their small town’s string of serial killings.
