There is a lot about Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons that has me interested, but one of the biggest things is how Invoke Studios seems to be building the game entirely around what its protagonist actually is in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. Kaatri's magic isn't simply there for combat purposes, but, from what has been shown so far, her abilities also affect how she moves through the world and how she deals with obstacles that would otherwise stop her from progressing. That alone makes Warlock feel very different from the usual Dungeons & Dragons game where your class mostly determines how you fight.
