If there is one game that people have been asking to be remastered more than any other, then it has to be Bloodborne. The PlayStation exclusive icon has long been hailed as one of the best games ever made, and a real force within the soulslike community, yet not over a decade since launch, we are still no closer to seeing a remake or even a sequel. The games industry as a whole has seen a major transition over to an age of remasters, with every franchise from Final Fantasy to Resident Evil seeing fully remade titles every few years, which begs the question of why Sony has been taking so long to do anything with Bloodborne, or more interestingly, why they have chosen to do nothing at all.
